Cleaning tools

A regular poster to our Japanese blog informed me that a cleaning car above was avaiable at an auction. I was in a hurry to get it. It cleans the tracks while it runs on them.
The explanation sheet says through the 2 nuts at the top, we can fill the special fluid and adjust how much it comes out etc. Something at the bottom is what cleans the tracks. Can replace the clothes by open/close the small nuts there.

This connector is an American one.

This loco could pull the cleaning car because it's an American steam loco.

A same connecter!

Connected!

This is what another regular poster in our Japanese blog presented me. It's an equipment to clean wheels. Just need to put a loco/car/coach on the track then provide some electlicity to work if it's a motor car.
So, now I got both a cleaning car and a wheel cleaner, only problem is if I can use them correctly lol......

Hamberg

Maybe it's just a hamberg but very profond.
Grill enough chopped onion with middle or weak fire in a pan patiently. Onions get sweet when you grill them but bitter if you burn them.
When onions get enough cold, mix them with everything else in a bowl. Form them by hands by doing something like catching balls to exhaust air in them.

Grill them in a pan 'til it gets brown at the surface each side. When you get them upside down after one side got brown, you just need to be patient not to open the cover for 7-8 minutes to make them juicy. If you open the cover and check how they got grilled by poking or shoving them, you'll miss the juicy part. This pan is roughly 28cms in diameter but the hambergers are a bit big so I was not able to put more.

Displayed it kinda rough. I use thin spaghetti e.g. Audesio No.5 or Barilla No.3 and boiled some with salty hot water to get them "Aldente" which means a little bit crisp. Tomato sauce is made from tomatoes we harvested in summer.

Had a first big snow in this 06-07 season. Snow removing dumps were busy to do their job.

Making a layout #21 A green hill

I made a hill on one of 3 check lids in my layout. Put some foam polystyrene to make rough shape for it, then put some pieces of plaster sheets which get wet in the water in advance. Brush then until the clothes get unvisible.

Put many trees on the hill and colored the ground with some green powder. Made it just hill not putting any trees at this side.
